Tweeting on Twitter/Facebook

A lot of my friends have jumped on the Twitter bandwagon and asked me to "follow them", so I was kind of aware of Twitter from an outside perspective. From what I gathered, it sounded a lot like Facebook's status updates, so I never really bothered with it. But when a facebook application was created that allowed users to update their facebook status and twitter status at the same time, I figured it was the perfect time to check out Twitter.

Maybe it's because I'm not really into change, but for my uses, I don't think I would end up using Twitter long-term. It's fun right now, since some of my friends use twitter and don't use Facebook, but I think after awhile it could become just one more site for me to check. It doesn't have enough draw for me.

I think Twitter is great for people who keep up with others in their area (mine are mostly long-distance friends as a way to keep in contact) to know up-to-the-minute information about their area or a sudden change of plans.

But for Christiana? I should probably just stick with Facebook.

Thing #6: Just Like That!

I always thought I woudl have to have ridiculously good web design skills in order to have a cute little blog header. But I used Big Huge Labs' blog header generator and it was ridiculously easy! All I had to do was work within Microsoft Publisher to make it the right size for the blogger layout I selected. I keep showing everyone like I did a lot of work or something. But it wasn't hard at all! You can do it too! It works with the majority of pictures that I tried it with.

I still plan to let everyone else that doesn't read this blog think that I was able to do it because I'm awesome at graphic design and web techie skills!

Wookieepedia

Did you know there's a wikipedia-type site for Star Wars type people? Did you know they (appropriately) call it Wookieepedia? Isn't that a little bit hilarious??

Don't ask me why I was looking up thermal detonators. I don't want to talk about it.

7 1/2 Habits of Highly Effective Christianas

I kept going back and forth about my hardest and easiest goals with the 7 1/2 habits. They all seem to go together decently well and on different days, I could go a different way (no rhyme intended)

But! I think The easiest one for me would be to incorporate technology. I'm kind of a techie geek, so I embrace all technology (figuratively. not literally. That would be weird) and always want to learn more and figure out how to incorporate it into my regular life. I am all about advantages of technology.

Probably the toughest for me is having confidence as a lifelong learner. Although I'm sure there will be times when the learning is effortless and easy to incorporate, there are also often times where it seems there is no light at the end of the tunnel and it will never ever get learned. I once was told that usually happens when you're right in the middle of learning something, which is the hardest time to see the outcome. So maybe I'll just try to remember that if I just go a tiny bit further, things could end up completely different. It's worth a shot.
